List of U.S. military vessels named after living Americans - This list includes vessels that were named in honor of Americans who were alive at the time. While it has long been a tradition of the United States Navy that no vessel will be named for a living person, that custom has been broken on occasion, the frequency of which is increasing.
Diving Badge - The Diving Badge is a military decoration of the United States armed forces which is awarded to those service members who have obtained qualifications as military divers. The Diving Badge was originally a patch which was worn by Navy divers on the upper left sleeve of a service uniform.
